Re: October Girls Update

We don’t have a rehearsal per se. The night before Oct 22nd we’re taking both families to dinner. THAT is when I’m wearing my red dress (which I still haven’t bought) which is a Chinese tradition for weddings. We’re going to Chinatown. BIG group for just two families. 7 on my side 5 on his side then us. So 14 all together. I ‘BELIEVE’ his mother is picking up this tab. I sure hope so!

I was thinking 8/23 to give them a good 2 months to respond...when is your RSVP...mine is Sept 20th

Isnt that only 1 month to respond?
From Aug 23rd to Sept 20th?

I meant 2 months till the wedding...if they take that long to respond. The RSVP is 9/20

CONGRATS!!!!

I am still a lazy ARSE
I just can't will myself into doing things...And i HAVE TO GET THE HM BOOKED already
I am sooo angry with myself

OK LADIES...

I've been hiding out lately because there is just so much going on in my life, I had to take a break. I've returned to do some power wedding planning because I haven't done anything in the last two months. I feel just like you Oct.2004bride. I just can't get motivated!

I'm looking at invites now... need to do limos, and all the small stuff like table names, place cards, bm gifts, accessories etc.

I'm excited because my dress just came in and now I get to do fittings... Now it'll feel real!

I am up and planning again...glad that you are on your power planning...

SO what are ya doing now???

I am trying to get the HM done and the invites finished!

Well, still haven't picked out invites. I'm horrible. I actually found one I like, but I'm waiting for Mom to get off her arse and give me the nod of approval. Honeymoon is done, thank god!

I saw my dress, Yeah! I also peeked at my registrys, and some items have been purchased, so I have a feeling my shower is coming up soon! YEAH!!!

What you been up to??? Which invite did you go with?

Re: October Girls Update

I don't like our post being on the second page . I had to bump it back up!

I FINALLY found an apartment that I LOVE!!!
It's in a complex and it's just perfect. We're working on the favors as well. For all my 23rd girls....we're in double digits WEDNESDAY!!! SO EXCITING! Let me know how you're progressing.

Re: October Girls Update

Congrats on the apartment and thanks for bumping!

I ordered invitations this weekend, and finally ordered my flower girl's dress this morning. She's wearing blue, and it was nearly impossible to find a blue dress!

I think I have all the really big stuff done now. I can start obsessing over the little details!

Also, FMIL decided to fully host the rehearsal dinner and booked it at Three Village Inn in stonybrook! I LOVE that place and I am so excited about it!

Re: October Girls Update

My guy is nearly as busy as me (the pastor) so it's hard for me to remember to call him and hard for him to get back to me.

Vacation? Isn't that my honeymoon?

I am giving only one month too!
sending mine out by the end of this week and my response date is Aug 20th!!!
I think most people know in less than a month if they are going to attend or not

My dress came in yesterday!!! And the BM gowns came in last week!!!

We decided on the BMs jewelry and I'll be ordering that this week.

Hey -- when should I schedule my first fitting?? I want to wait at least until August... tell me when you are doing yours!

CaCRmr Posted: Jul 14, 2004 11:00 AM

Re: October Girls Update

I'm going next week to try my dress on and make sure it's the right one. I'm probably going for my first fitting late August (around the 23rd) I just love that number.

Well, date twin, I am going August 26th- 7pm.

I got a lot done this weekend ( finally!) purchased BM jewellery & wedding bands, had 2nd to last meeting with pastor, bought wrapping paper for the favors, decided on labels for the favors ( ordering today!) made progress on our maps ( PIA!) & moved the rehearsal from 7 to 5 30, so now we have to find a restaurant in Hicksville.

I can't list all the other things I have to do, it will drive me crazy!
