We're going out for my mom's bday 'brunch' on July 9th...for some reason no one could do dinner that day and 12:30 worked for everyone![]()

Wow, there have been a lot of posts on this thread today!
Ok, I know my shower is going to be pretty late. My cousin (MOH) hasnt even called my mom about the shower yet and I dont mind b/c we are still trying to tackle the issue of where we are going to live.
We are meeting with my parents this weekend b/c we might move in with them for now and have the entire downstairs and then when we have kids, they would go downstairs and we would go upstairs. So, FH will sell his house in Rocky Point and we will rent the top floor of my house b/c my brother will still live on the first floor. Its a long complicated story and I dont want to bore everyone with my drama filled life![]()
As for bach. party, I am doing something different, I am taking my MOH and my best friend for massages and doing dinner. I am not a big fan of bach parties since everyone of them i have been to have resulted in disaster!
Congrats to all the ladies who are in the middle of buying homes. I give you all a lot of credit planning weddings and buying houses at the same time![]()

Even though we are paying for the wedding ourselves we will probably get them a little something.
But I cant even think about it until we decide on the GM's gift. We are stuck and have no clue what to get the guys. They seem to have everything.![]()

we had that same problem. We ended up getting my cousin a poker set that has his name and the date of the wedding on it. On eof the other guys a humidor, the rest of them got regulation Rawling Baseball bats that have Groomsman, their names and the date burned into them. THe BM get a bat and a beer stein. His bat says MOST VALUEBLE BESTMAN, his name and the date..

We got them all cologne. The bottles are individually engraved with the guy's name on it.

I am not really getting my parents gifts.. I am going to give them their first grandchild in two yrs.. that is there gift....
Besides they know how much we are spending, so they don't expect anything...
I did get them hankerchief's to carry with them that day they come with a cute little poem...

YEahhhhhh i agree with the 1st grandchild thing, i was hoping for 2 yrs.............Once we get settled somewhere.....

Little off topic but did you buy your wedding day bra/corset yet????? I was thinking about going to georgettes in hicksville or fred's of hollywood.....I didnt even touch that yet..........Except for undies and stockings that I bought
