Well, I'M OFFICIALLY INSAne!!!!!!!! I don't know if you all remember me telling you all that i hate my dress (if you don't remember - it's because when I tried it on I didn't know it was a mermaid and I didn't know I wouldn't be able to move my arms AT ALL because of the portrait neckline, because i tried on the sample in a 12 and I'm a 2 so it was TOTALLY different when I got it in my size) ANYWAY, I didn't CARE, I am marrying the man I love, I don't CARE about the dress, really.. So anyway, I had this IDEA yesterday - CUT THE DRESS APART!! OK, so with SEVEN days to go, I just went to my bridalshop to have them TAKE MY DRESS APART AND CUT THE 'SLEEVES' OFF!!!!!!!!! I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now with the FULL support of MY MOM & Sophie (sr081906), I OFFICIALLY DID IT!!!!!!!! I get to try it on TUESDAY!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday, had scheduled:
-makeup trial
-e-pics
-meet with banquet mgr to pick menu
-meet with priest to finalize ceremony details

the last two came off without a hitch........unfortunately, the first two were a mini-disaster!

A) arrive at the salon for my makeup trial and they tell me they were trying to reach me that my makeup artist had called in sick! there are no other makeup artists available--not like I wanted to pay for a trial with anyone else anyhow.

but I'im in a bind because i'm having engagement pix taken in 2 hrs!

so, one of the hairdressers also does makeup, they tell me to wait for her. I wait almost a half hr. she was very nice but i hated what she did to me. Rush home to re-do the whole thing.

B) With all of this, plus a detour due to road work, we're a half hr late to engagement shoot. (We had called photographer and he was very nice and understanding about it).

but when we finally do get there, it's totally rushed and the sun and wind are making FH's eyes irritated.......he keeps squinting and blinking and the photographer keeps saying, this isn't working. the photographer was very creative in trying to help the situation, but because we had to stay out of the sun, we got NO beach pictures. Only pictures in the shade under the trees. and we were going to leave without even taking any playground pix b/c there were kids on the playground. but i managed to get him to take a few but who knows how they willl turn out.

i'm going to be on pins and needles until he sends them next week!!!!!!!!

Yayyyyyy, I finally had my shower. OMG, it was so much fun and everyone was super generous. I want to do it again.

I know I don't come on here often (sorry), but does anyone else feel like they can't wait until the day comes? I've been stressed..and can't wait. I'm sure the day of is going to be beautiful..but the days leading up to it...OY VAY!


All I know is there are 13 days left and I am starting to get nervous...

My Bach party was this weekend... I really didn't care to have one, but we had an awesome time... We went to LIPS in the city. And then we all went our seperate ways, four of us came baclk to LI got my FH and one of there Boyfriend's and went to Mirage, we had an awesome time..

LIPS IS SO MUCH FUN

Girls I had my bachelorette party this weekend! It was sooooooo much fun!! We spent 2 nights in AC. Friday night we went to Cuba Libre (yum!) and then to Planet Rose which is a karaoke bar. We sang some songs and had a lot of laughs. Saturday we went to the spa during the day, Carmines for dinner, back to the room for a little 'entertainment' (so funny!) and then out for the night.

It was a weekend I'll never forget!!!!!1

I hope all the rest of you who had BP's this weekend had an awesome time!!
