Im still deciding on limos and making honeymoon arrangements. Once the holidays are over I have to book limos, finalize honeymoon, and order my dress as well as the girls. What are you up to?

Oh you are on the ball! I feel very behind after hearing that. I got engaged in August and still have to do entertainment, flowers, limos, bm dresses, etc etc etc...i already ordered my dress, picked photographers, hall, etc. After the holidays I have to do DJ/Band and then flowers. I feel like suddenly I don't have too much time, and work is so busy that I can't even think about it. I'm going to have to go to China for a few different 2 week periods next year for work, in addition to smaller domestic trips...it's just too much to plan while working! I wish I was a teacher and at least had the summer off to get things done:( oh well...one thing at a time i guess.

Same here. Still have to book limos and find a dress. Things are on hold right now until we get all the house stuff in order.

for January:
-book limos -register at BBB and amazon.com -get our wedding website up and running -choose and order STD's -send out STD's by the end of January or so
january is FH's time off from school, so we have to pack in all this wedding stuff.

Your giving me waaaaaaaaay too much credit. We've been engaged since last november so I've had plenty of time to book everything. But the last couple of weeks I've gotten really lazy. Im so corny, I actually have a yearly planner with tasks that I have to accomplish each month!!

Not corny at all. I think that is a great idea. That way you are not stuck with a million last minute details. Good going I on the other hand have not done much at all. I'm not 'ready' yet. I said come January I will put my bootie in motion, but until then, I will buy a calendar and fill it up with to-do's.

I feel like I am so behind. It might be easier to say what I have done so far (not much). Just the church, reception place, band, and pre-cana. I am taking a break during the holidays. But in January I have to get going on photographers, florists, a dress.

Yeah, come January we'll all be accomplishing things again - too tough now with the holidays. How did you girls find your dj's or bands?? reccommendations? bridal showcases? ad's? I'm not sure where to start...thanks!

I actually got a ton of recommendations from work. I only told a few people in my department that I was engaged and it spread like wildfire. Suddenly girls I didnt know came to me with suggestions. The two most popular suggestions were Tommys Tunes for DJ and Burtons for dresses. We went to see a couple of DJ's at showcases, but I really liked TT.

I have not done anything since Feb. That's when we booked the hall, church, photo/video and DJ/Band. Right now I'm trying to book honeymoon and after the holidays I'll book the florist and start to look at dresses for me and my BM. I thought I had so much time (I've been engaged for 2 years now) and now I feel its flying right by.

I have church, hall, band, photo, my dress and shoes. We have looked at a couple of florists and a couple of limo companies.
I know what BM dresses I like, its just getting the girls there to try on and order.
