October Weddings

What color schemes are you using?? I do not want to use the normal reds browns greens and golds...but I know that using my purple and blues wont really work well with all the natural fall colors.. Boo for changing wedding dates..again! LOL

I'm getting married Oct. 5th and I decided not to go with the fall theme for my wedding. My theme is shabby chic and my color scheme is blues and white.

Reds champagnes and purple would be pretty!! I'm doing typical fall orannge/brown/red/champagne/gold/yellow.

2014 crasher... My mom got married in late september and used purple like a lavender/lilac purple for her wedding colors with blue accents.

I think depending on the shades of purple/blue you can TOTALLY do your original color scheme if you really want to keep it :)

You should definitely do the colors you want to! Especially if you're getting married at sunset harbor. Blues would be lovely on the water! If you're going to change it to be a little more, 'fall,' I love a deep maroon and purples.

I'm getting married Oct 6th but I didn't go with a fall theme. I am having a peacock theme and my colors are purple, dark turquoise/teal and cobalt blue. Not going overboard w/peacock but there will be touches of it.

My best friend got married in October a few years ago and did a sort of wine/burgundy color, it was really pretty and worked well for the season without being the typical fall colors.

But you should use whatever colors you want. Between centerpieces, uplighting, linens, etc., you can make your reception room whatever color scheme you like

Any color you pick can be 'warmed up'. Even purples blues etc. I'm doing rusty orange and cream but I'm not getting harvesty or pumpkiny with it. Not easy!!
