Re: odd number of bridal party
We were suppose to have 3 GM and 2BM. We were going to have 1 BM walk down with a guy on each arm and we aren't doing a BP dance either just a couples dance.

Re: odd number of bridal party
I had 4 girls; 5 guys. One girl walked down with 2 guys. There was never a point in time where we required the BP to dance so that wasn't an issue for us.

I had an odd #....double up with one of the couples. As far as the dance. We had everyone join in not just the BP....also the off person out can pick a person they are comfy dancing with from the crowd.

Re: odd number of bridal party
I was in a wedding with an odd number. We had 6 BMs and 5 GMs. My friend put two ladies with one man. I was one of them. When we left the church I went around him, took his arm, and walked on the left side of him, while Christy walked on his right side of him traditionally.
You can reverse that. Its not a big deal to have it that way.
Walking in for the reception we both walked with him as well, though we did this funny thing where he walked in acting like a stud, then we pushed him out of the way and walked in together. Then he came in dejected. But all of us did funny entrances and we came up with that on our own.

Re: odd number of bridal party
We had 5 BMs and 6 GM… on both the way up and down the aisle we had 1 BM (SIL) walked with 2 GMs (BILs). For the first dance SIL danced with BIL, and the other BIL danced with his GF.
That was a lot of abbreviations for one sentence.
Honestly I freaked out about things like that too and I guarantee no one even noticed or cared about that.

Re: odd number of bridal party
We announced everyone separately and my girls walked individually without an escort. We also wanted our first dance to be just us.
EDA: How old is your flower girl? Maybe one of the guys can be cute and dance with her during the first dance.

Re: odd number of bridal party
I had the same thing. 6 BMs 7 ushers, and 3 JBMs.
During the ceremony the JBMs and BMs walked into the church alone and on the way out they walked with their partner. I had one BM double up with two GMs. No biggie.

I had the same number. For the church I doubled up 2 GMs with one BM and we didn't have the bridal party join in for the first dance. We just had everyone join in so it wasn't an issue. Most of our BP were either married or had a significant other with them.
