Odd program question

Odd program question

I am trying to do a mock up of a possible wedding program looking at many examples. It is rather uncommon for Jewish wedding sto have programs but I decided to do them anyway so my non-Jewish guests know what is going on and don't feel alienated.

Anyway, I am listing bridal party members and parents but I was curious to know how to list parent's names. Do I put titles like Mr. and Mrs. or should I use first names. I would like to keep it as formal as possible as the invitations were.

Thats what I thought. Here is another thing. On my invitations, since my mother is a recent widow and the hostess, I had them printed as:

Mrs. Dad's first name and last name
requests the honour.....

should I put Mrs. Mom's first name and last name in the program or should I word it the same way as on the invitation.

What about FH's grandmother. She she be listed as Mrs so in so or just by her first and last name?

my parents are still married so I put 'Mr and Mrs John Smith'

his parents are divorced so I put: Mr Joe White and Mrs. Jen White

You can do your mom's name either way... use mrs for your grandma too. Keep it uniform however you do it.

I agree on the uniformity thing. We are having a page in memory of those we lost. It was hard to put the hostess as Mrs Dad's name but we felt it was the best way to honor him and let people know that he was making the wedding posthumously - thats what mom wanted. Perhaps using 'Mrs. Mom's name' that day will allow her to have equal honor as well. Thanks ladies.
