Odd Registry Items

Is anyone putting luggage on their registry? FH def needs/wants luggage and I need a new set...so originally we put it on. My Mom thought it was tacky and strongly suggested we take it off. Ugh. I am so confused.... Is it ok to put luggage on a registry..?

I didn't b/c we already have good luggage. But a lot of people put it on b/c you can use it for the honeymoon. I would've put it on if we didn't already have some.

i put luggage on ours-we travel a lot so it makes sense, and this is the only time that im going to have the chance to get such a nice set bought for me.

i think we registered for 2 rolling carry-ons, a lg. suitcase to check, 2 sm. overnight bags and a garment bag thats all samsonite.

and i don't think it's tacky at all lol! don't a lot of registries suggest that you put luggage on?

The woman who helped us at Bloomingdale's suggested it - and FH and I thought it was a great idea. I did think it was a normal thing - up until my Mom said something...ugh. I am keeping it on though! Thanks for the advice!!

I really really want the aerogarden....ummm hello, fresh basil and herbs ALL year round!!! How is that not a good thing??!!

Why did she think it was tacky? I've actually never heard that before. I've had three friends get married in the past two years and they've all put luggage on their registry. Including me.

We put an herb garden on our registry!!! FH wants it so bad! He works for a housewares magazine and thought it was great!
