Of course I get sick right before the wedding.

I am going to the dr. today and leaving work early. I have a really bad sore throat and cough. Any other suggestions that I can take? Thanks.

Hey, I have no medical and last week when I got very sick I just took NyQuill each night and DayQuill each morning and I'm good as new.....After two/three days I felt great but I'm sure your dr. will prescribe something real strong, ask for that once a day pill, don't know the name of it sorry....

Take A LOT of vitamin C's it always makes my colds go away faster

Take Cold Eeze. I was sick a few weeks ago, and Danielle told me to take Cold Eeze. I tried it and my cold was gone in 4 days...

Echinacea tea, lots of water and juice and SLEEP. You are probably stressed which made your body more able to get sick. You need rest and relaxation. I know you may say you can't relax, but being stressed is probably what has made you sick.

You have over a week! You should be fine. Get lots of rest and take vitamin C.

Valentinegirl, when you go to your Dr. ask about Zithromax (not sure of spelling).

But I was sick last week (Wed-Fri) with those same symptoms. I started taking them Thurs. and was feeling better by Fri. You take 2 pills the first day and then 1 each day after and its only for 5 days, and the medicine stays in your system for 10 days.

Same advice as some of the other girls...get lots of Vitamin C and REST!!!

I am a sick aholic..I use zinc losenges and i swear by them. They have some that taste horrible but I like the grape or rasberry..Of course echinacea works also at least i think it does. I'm sure you'll be fine you have plenty of time..My luck I'll be out sick on that day.

Theraflu cold and cough..NIghttime...great for puting you to sleep ..nyqil doesn't work for me.

You need plenty of rest.gargle with warm water and salt (yep gross but works !) several times a day...

drink green tea (decaf) !!!!

Just make sure when you go to the Dr. he/she doesn't give you antibiotics if you don't need them! Taking them so close to the wedding might affect your skin...
