So I am in the process of booking my limos, but I am trying to figure out how many cars I will need.
My plan was to have the limo pick up the men at the hotel and bring them to the church. Then pick up the girls at my house and bring them to the church (everything is close by). Then have a rolls royce take my parents and I to the church. After the ceremony, my bp will go in the limo and my FH and I will be in the Rolls. How should my parents get to the RH if they came with me????
Can other people tell me how they are organizing their transportation? TIA!

My dad will be bringing their car to the church in the afternoon that day.....Mom and dad will come in the limo with me to the church and then they will drive themselves to the Reception Hall... HTH!!! We have 2 limos..One for us and one for the bridal party.....

i think having 1 limo pick up the guys, drop them off at the church, then pick up the gals to take to church is asking for trouble...what if there's a major traffic jam or something else along the way? Or what if the guys are running late? Even if everything is close by, don't tempt fate, because you know that whatever can go wrong ...enough said.
i would recommend having 2 separate limos pick up the guys and the gals to bring to the church; one limo can then leave. Have another limo (or fancy car) pick up you and your parents to bring to church. After the ceremony, you and new groom can use the fancy car/limo, and the rest of the BP, your parents, and FH's parents can go in the other limo.

We used two--one for the men, one for the women. Parents drove their own cars to the site (their preference).

I haven't started looking at limos, but I'm assuming I'll only get 2. My ceremony and reception are all at the RH, but we are taking pics some place else. One limo to pick up the guys and FH's parents and one limo for the girls and my family and then we'll all meet at the picture site and then off to the RH!
Do you think that will work?

We had two - one for the men & his parents and onefor me, the ladies & my parents. After the ceremony, the entire BP rode together to the hall & all of the parents rode together in the other limo...it worked out really well...
