Re: # of people to invite
I was in a similar situation. My room holds 150 we invited 162 our final count is 125. It was a little iffy for a while if we were going to fit in the room. Most of the no came near the end or after the rsvp or were people we had to hunt down b/c they didn't rsvp.

Re: # of people to invite
i feel like most girls say that about 20% RSVP 'NO'. I think you are safe to assume that you will be under your max

I think you should be alright - just keep on top of it incase anyone doesn't respond by the date - get on them right away otherwise they might be a last minute yes

Yea I think you will be fine. You definitely will have some 'No's' however - I do think OOTers make a big difference in the head count too! Can you cut it down to 160? LOL Might make you feel more at ease....

Re: # of people to invite
I'd say you are going to be tight!! 150 is the max so I wouldn't want to squeeze that many in.
With that said, if you get the 20% average rejection then you should be OK.

Re: # of people to invite
You have to look at your and FH family. If there the type of people that come to everything be carful. FH family rarely says no at their cousin wedding only 3 people from their side RSVP no.

this but go through your guest list and see how many people might say no, if its all family who absolutely will be there you may have an issue.
I wouldn't necessarily count on the '20% no rule.' Each family is different, and obviously you know yours best. If they're the type that makes it to every party, don't expect a lot of people to decline. I'm also in the WGP and I wouldn't want 168 people in that room. I also don't want any tables on the dancefloor under any circumstances..

How many ppl are you having?
Right now I think there are about 135-140 people on the guest list, but some we might be taking off. I would estimate that the absolute most people we would be inviting is 150.

we had a 33% no rate, but almost 1/2 of our guests were OOT
