Damn, I really hate needles, why must all tests be blood tests?

That's been my mantra all day.
I am such a baby! I started being ok with the woman at my old obgyn because she was soooo wonderful but today is the first day I am getting blood drawn at my new RE and I am just praying they are as nice and as gentle.

I am a huge baby and hate bloodwork too. Make sure yiu ask them to let you lay down! It always helps.

lots of luck. I know what it is like. It seems like every other day Im having blood being drawn, for this and that. I hate needles too, but like someone said, it is for a good cause

I was always told that when you stop birth control pills you are more fertile...maybe that is why

for a few reasons:

1. I have quite a few cysts right now

2. He wants to wait for the clomid until he gets the results of today's blood tests.

3. He thinks it will help balance out all my hormone levels and that will help us have a better shot next month

I also heard of dr.s putting people on the pill for a month. I did hear that you are more fertile when you stop.

I know it sounds strange but going on the pill might help in getting PG quicker when you get off of them. I was told i would NEVER be able to have children because my hormones where SO out of wack. The doctor threw me on BC to see if maybe my body would take to the hormones and then start to produce more hormones on it's own. I was told one year ago that my body started to make it's own hormones and then when i went off of the BC I got PG the second month of trying. I hopw this helps a little. If you have any questions please FM me. Also i have a friend that had cysts on her overies and that was what was causing her not to get PG. Once she they went away she got PG instantly. Deb, I hope being on the BCP works and you get PG faster. Plus last thing you want is to have horrible pain with bursting systs.

I haven't been online much in a few days, so I just caught up with all this now.

My RE always has me do 2 weeks of BCP's before any cycle!

It does balance things out and help prevents lead follicles.
