I purchased an off the shoulder dress and now am getting concerned about whether or not it is going to be comforatble all day. Has anyone worn one or planning to wear one, what was your experience? Thanks.

Re: Off the Shoulder Dress
i think as long as the dress is made well and fits you correctly, it shoudl be comfortable. at least that's what i hope becuse i have a strapless, and i was really worried about it being comfortable!

Re: Off the Shoulder Dress
I agree. Make sure it is fitted CORRECTLY. My MOH got married in May and her off the shoulder kept slidding down and annoying her. By the end of the night she had a tank dress!!!

Re: Off the Shoulder Dress
I have an off the shoulder and LOVE it. its so comfy.
When I tried it on in the store (and I went back at least 3 times even before leaving a deposit) i danced around the store, hugged people, sat, kneeled, you name it I did it.

I also have an off the shoulder. I loved it when I tried it on but I'll have to be more aware of it when I go back for my fittings. I hope it will be ok

Re: Off the Shoulder Dress
Mine is off the shoulder and I only went with it because I wore an off the shoulder dress at my friends wedding (BM dress) and it was extremely comfortable. No adjusting or pulling, it was great.
Im wearing off the shoulder but no long sleeves. The only thing Im aware of so far is I wont be able to really stretch too far over my head. But I think that's alright.
my dress is also off the shoulder. It didn't seem uncomfortable when I tried on the sample but I must admit that I really didn't try to raise my arms, hug someone, dance, etc. - I will have to see when I go to my first fitting but I think it will be fine or I would have noticed it.

firegal: I love that gown... i 'almost' bought it. hehe
When I tried on the sample it was an 8.. im a 10 but even then I could move my arms alright.. just couldn't move them above my head. I love my dress though and I think it's worth it!
