Off to my first day of subbing...UPDATE!!

I am so nervous. I got a call last night to sub half the day today from 12-3:30. This is my first time subbing ever. I am about to throw up..lol I will talk to everyone later.

UPDATE:

So I was a sub for a fourth grade today in the afternoon. It was a huge difference since I am used to Kindergarten. I really enjoyed it. They are so independent. Thanks for all the comments girls. Once I got into the classroom and got started I calmed down. The class was realy good. They started to talk more towards the end but I expected that since I was a sub, it was Friday afternoon but they were still really good. I hope to get called again.

I'm a teacher, and here's some advice: If the kids are nuts, don't take it personally: it's Friday, it's afternoon, it's 3 days after Spring Break... kids are kids, and don't be discouraged if they're not angels. Keep cool and you'll be fine! And try to have fun! Spending the day with kids can be a blast if you allow yourself to relax a little.
