We'll see how it goes.

Worse comes to worst, I buy a dress for $250 and sell it on ebay for double.

***UPDATE!!***

I BOUGHT A DRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was AWESOME! If any of you are looking for a dress and have a limited budget, GO GO GO to the running of the brides. Its fun, and 90% of the dresses are BRAND NEW and $249.

I wound up with a $7,000 Romona Keveza dress for $700!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

I took some pics of it with my digital camera...but then my camera died. As soon as I get batteries I'll upload them!

******UPDATEDDDDD AGAIN!*********
Here are pics of the actual dress. I tried to download the ones of me IN them, but they were all shaky and unfocused. I have NO idea how to take a pic of myself in it! I'm going to enlist some help this weekend

(and yes, I intend to try it on everyday )

Re: Off to the Running of the Brides!!! *UPDATE!**

Wait, you have it at home? How are you going to hide it from your FH? I'm picturing an 'Alias' type thing where it's behind a fake wall, and then you walk to a keypad and it scans your thumbprint, and a panel opens up and you have to scan your retinas, to get to a safe...

Re: Off to the Running of the Brides!!! UPDATE!UPDATE 2

oh my god!!! i was going to go this morning but my mom couldn't make it up from LI bc of the weather. I was bummed out!! THEN i read that beachbum05 had so much fun...that i said SCREW IT!!! and i got up and went this afternoon...and I BOUGHT MY DRESS!!!!!

mine is also romona keveza...but a totally different one!

let me know what you guys think! i can't wait to show my mom :)

it's kind of hard to envision because i have no shoes and i look short and stumpy...also the zipper was broken (but i got even MORE of a discount, and it's totally fixable) so you have to envision it zipped up. hahaha

the pics are too big...just check them out in my album!!!
