off-topic... need help... baby shower advice!

Hi girls -

I haven't posted on here in ages... but i need some quick advice.

First, at this time of year, what is appropriate to wear to a baby shower (being held at a restaurant)? I really want to wear pants b/c it's so wintery out, but i have a feeling a dress or skirt would be more appropriate.

Second, the baby shower is having 'reading well.' Sounds silly, but do you wrap the book, or just put it in the 'well' without wrapping?

I think that you can totally wear pants - do you have dress pants?

And usually wishing well presents are not wrapped.

You could TOTALLY wear pants. Expecially with the style right now being with leggings/stretch pants and a nice long top/dress. OR you can't go wrong with black, it always looks dressy but not sure for a baby shower...hmmmm.

I have gone to showers where they have reading wells and no one wrapped the books. They all wrote something sweet inside but I think wrapping/non wrapping is totally up to you.

You could wrap it, get there, see what others have done and take it off if you want.

I'd say you can definitely wear dressy pants. Love my Express pants You could even wear a dressy sweater over it. You don't have to wear a dress.
