off topic question- but need advice

So going to my DH's family party tomorrow and its to celebrate his brothers graduation from high school- we're gonna give money-
But whats appropriate>????

i know everyone says whatever you feel comfortable giving but i have like NO CLUE whats even the range????

i was thinking like $100- is that in the appropriate range???

100 was about the average people gave me when i graduated HS
