It begins sailing in February '07 and it departs from Rome, Italy. I cannot wait
That sounds awesome

Hi All, just thought I would share that I am going on a Mediterranean Cruise on my honeymoon too! We are going on the Carnival Freedom, it's a new ship currently being built, and the cost is pretty reasonable! We are going for 12 nights, we visit Turkey, Greece, and Italy! Just thought I'd share
thats what we did-but on celebrity, you will love it! YAY for you!

Re: Offical Mediterranean Cruise Thread!
I just came back from a Med. cruise...Carnival Liberty! We did Italy, Croatia, Spain, France, and Monaco. It was a whirlwind adventure, but well worth it! It kinda made me realize what places I want to back to! It wasn't my FH and I...mom has never been to Europe so we made it an all girls vacation! Mom, gma, best friend and I...it was an amazing trip! Ask questions if you want more info... I have tons of pics too!

Re: Offical Mediterranean Cruise Thread!
Hi All- I've been trying to research doing a Med cruise & the prices I've been getting are pretty high. Would anyone be willing to share the type of prices they got & what it includes (airfare, room type)
I'm also wondering if anyone looked into the windstar cruises, they seem like a less expensive alternative- but i'm a little nervous that the ships are for 150-300 people!
GOING TO ROME FOR 3 DAYS THEN ON A 12 CRUISE THRU MEDITERRANEAN... STOP IN MONTE CARLO ITALY GREECE TURKEY AND END IN VENICE....
GOING ON GOLDEN PRINCESS....

Hi! I have not researched Windstar, but I think those are large boats vs. a large cruise ship made for 3000 guests.
I got a great deal through Travelocity. The cruise was $2035 in a mini suite with free air and a $100 shipboard credit. Ithink that deal was going because we booked early. I am thinking about not taking the flights they provide because I my FH is tall and we will try to fly first class if we can get some miles from the parents 9also depending on the cost). I would say keep searching for those deals, they pop up every onc ein awhile, you just have to be ready to purchase quickly. Also, get quote from Travel agents to see if they can get you better deals than the internet. Sometimes they can, other times no.
