Re: Office Holiday Parties
We're having a couple. Today is the Social Work holiday party, which is a lunch. Then there's the hospital wide party, but I am not going to that one.
I love parties but have no time!

Re: Office Holiday Parties
We dont have holiday parties - we have 'annual gatherings' in order to accommodate the religions that do not celebrate anything. We all call it a Christmas party amongst ourselves. I think its ridiculous to have a party EVERY winter and have it themed like a rodeo or superheroes or the 70s.

Re: Office Holiday Parties
We have a totally LAME party, not even worth mentioning or describing. Our VP is so super cheap it is ridiculous. This is definitely one of the times I miss being in public accounting, we always had awesome parties

Ours is also on 12/15, at the Smithtown Sheraton.
Ours is there on 12/16, that's on Motor Parkway, right?
We are also having a couple of other 'parties' at work. 12/14- dept holiday luncheon, 12/15 another dept luncheon at a restaurant that management is paying for. It should be really nice and this is why I don't plan on dieting until after the holidays.
