Police Officer Shot In Harlem

Police say an officer was shot tonight in Harlem after an altercation with a suspect who was also shot.

The suspect is in custody. Police didn't know if he was hospitalized. The officer was taken to an area hospital and was expected to recover.

Police didn't know yet what caused the shooting, or if the officer fired at the suspect.

I just saw this on the news.. they say he's in serious condition after being shot 2x in the torso.. I hope he's ok..

My brother in law works in one of the precincts in Harlem and my heart always drops in my stomach when I hear this.
