Re: Official '06 Fox Hollow Thread...

Hi girls! I have a question...while looking at photographers..a question that FH and I have is where will we take pics...I love the grounds at fox..but if it is nice out I want to go some place in between the ceremony and ch... My photographer told me about a park right across from the fox. on jericho trnpk..she said it is worth checking out, because it is free...do any of you know about it and are any of you planning to go somewhere specific for pics??

thanks...

P.s...tea party info is on:

Re: Official '06 Fox Hollow Thread...

Ok girls, went to the tea party tonight at chateu briand...it was nice.

Basically it was a planning seminar conducted by a woman Fancine. When we arrived they gave us a folder with recc. vendor info and coupons...She basically went over planning time lines and gave detail info about diff. vendors and areas that we may need help in. I found her to be very helpful and informative. She def. new her stuff. THey had a three tier platter with cookies/tea biscuits and finger sandwiches on each table and served tea, it was really cute!

They had us fill out a form that asked what we still need to book..and told us they would make apts. for us if we wanted to meet with their recc. vendors. They also noted that should we go with their vendors we would get something back in return...ex. gift certificate to one of their restaurants etc.

After talking for an hour we shifted to another room where vendors were set up.. I was a little disappointed that non of their recc. DJ's were there.

One thing that was weird was they stressed to me that no men were invited and that I was allowed to come with one female guest; MOH, MOB or BM. However there were two girls who brought their FH's..

All in all it was really a good experience, Francine was great and I learned a lot. Should you have the opportunity to go, take advantage of it!

Re: Official '06 Fox Hollow Thread...

I got the same run-through w/the Party Planners - however, I didn't get any food! I bought FI, mom, and FMIL w/me and it was the first time they saw Fox Hollow. They of course fell in love and got more excited. FI pulled me aside afterwards and said it was great bringing him along for the 'Consultation' b/c it put a lot of things into perspective. Now, he knew what vendors do what, how it works, and all of the planning that goes into it. He really enjoyed himself, and so did both of the Mom's....I suggest for everyone to bring along FI, and mom and fmil....

Does anyone know if we can have a table runner on the tables? Also, if Fox Hollow would supply them?

I would like all white table linens, with a gold runner on them....

i think they only provide the table cloths and napkins.

Re: Official '06 Fox Hollow Thread...

Okay, since most of us have been freaking out lately, I just called FH and spoke with a very nice gentleman named Julio (something or other) - here are the questions & answers:

1) Chair Covers for the Winter Garden Room - no they're not provided by FH, they paint them often enough, but if you'd like to get chair covers, refer to their list of vendors (shocker)

2) The Inn at Fox Hollow - A bridal suite is provided free of charge during the Months of January and February

3) Rates of the Inn are set by the hotel - you must contact them to arrange the pricing information

4) If you have a mini-viennese hour - there's no additonal time added to your 4 hour reception, it's 'blended' in during the coffee/dessert/cake time

5) Tastings are provided by coming to their Restaurant (Rose Hunt) - they will not charge you for entree's

6) One Year Anniversary Complimentary Dinner - a few of us have it, and a few of us don't. Speak to your BM and they can arrange something for you.

7) FRANK MARINO is still with FH. It's FRANK ACIERNO that is no longer with FH

Hope this has helped!

Thanks Christine. You are awesome! Glad to know that Frank Marino is still there. When I last called he was on an extended leave of absence.

Anyone going to the bridal showcase on 9/21?

ChrissynRicky Posted:

Re: Official '06 Fox Hollow Thread...

Is that the one they sent an email (that I never got) out about?

I remember reading a post somewhere about a bridal showcase for a Tuesday or Wednesday Night...I thought it was in early September though...

I got an email maybe 2 weeks ago for an event on 9/21. I know there is also an event sometime soon at Fortunoff.
