Since its a slow day, I figured I'd start the thread. I will keep a list of the dates that CLM brides are getting married (as we do with the official date thread).
As was said, i think this will be a good thread as we get closer to the dates and have questions about CLM.

i was reading another thread ... and someone mentioned them putting an elevator in Chateau La Mer ... anyone know what they are talking about?

Hahah i was going to wait but why wait. Hahahah we will post pics of all events at CLM we might attend and make links of bride reviews as they come in next year of CLM this way we are all have the best of CLM.

They have been talking about it for a few years. They have the actual eleveator but they need the permits to put the extension on to house it. From what Nick has said and the mayor of Lindy that it is up for board review next month and everyone thinks it will pass the first time around. so hopefully it will be installed before any of our weddings (crossing fingers)

Not a CLM girl, but apparently they have everything they need, so even when it is being put in, it will be minimal and no one should see the work (thats what was explained to me)

yea i agree with the above.. just crossing my fingers its done before 08 because my grandma might not come to teh wedding at all because she refuses to walk up any stairs and carrying her is not a option she will allow.

not a clm bride..but we have looked at 15 places and after six months of being engaged im so ready to book..i actually liked clm but fh didnt so much..but we are going ot the wedding of the year and im hoping he will change his mind by then and we can tatse the food...the only thing is we would have the upstairs room does anybody know if they finished fixing it? when we went bout 2-3 months ago they were going to be changing the rug and adding a bar..anybody have pics of the upstairs room and the cocktail room

No they haven't changed the rug as of two weeks ago and haven't added the bar yet. I think they are doing it more in Jan/Feb when its slow for them only because they are having holiday parties there now.
When i went to put my depo down they did have a few workers working on the ceiling and fixing up some of the molding.
I am actually working on making a links guide to CLM if you want to wait about 20 mins i should have it up
