Since its a slow day, I figured I'd start the thread. I will keep a list of the dates that CLM brides are getting married (as we do with the official date thread).
As was said, i think this will be a good thread as we get closer to the dates and have questions about CLM.

does anyone know if the upstairs room was fixed up yet,,,,i havent been there in awhile and last i checked they were suppose to be changing the wallpaper and the carpet up there.............just curious if it got done

as of last week the new rug wasnt done yet...and they are still waiting for the permit for the elevator

I wanted to share something with you girls.....
I was at CLM last week with my MOH to finalize her menu......i wanted to let you know incase you didnt know already.......
The maitre'd fee does not entirely go to the Maitre 'd. It is split between them and the chef. your gratuities coveres everyone else. So if you love your maitre 'd and they do an awesome job like i know Nick will do for mine...Tip them after!!
Also, you have to bring in you own bathroom baskets. I figured as much but we checked with him just to make sure.
Just wanted to let you ladies know this info!

Yeah, I agree. We are turning in our last down payment this month. They expect a lot of money up front. Where I am from you usually put down $1,000 and that is all until 2-4 weeks before the wedding. It is crazy, but I love CLM, so totally worth it!!!!!!!!

Hi girls! My FH and I are actually going to Fire Island to take pics after the reception is over. It will be just the two of us. Very romantic strolling along the beach.

Super Newbie here.
Our wedding might be Sept. 27 or 28. I see someone took October 4th. That was my 3rd choice. We're looking towards an afternoon ceremony since it might be chilly at night for an outdoor ceremony.
Anyway I am going to visit the place this upcoming week. Hope it is as pretty as the pics show online.

Yeah that's what I heard. I am also debating on should we do it on a Saturday afternoon or a Sunday afternoon. There is the price factor ($8 separates having a Saturday afternoon wedding and a Sunday afternoon wedding). We are also planning to go to our HM on Monday and thought we should get the rest first before heading down there.

Well the place from what I seen online looks great. And the price isn't that bad. I've been torn between CLM, Lands End, and Timber Point, but CLM is the closest to everyone (FH's family lives in Amityville, while most of my family are based in Brooklyn) and it's on the water. Seriously, I can't wait to see the place on Tuesday and let FH know about it.
