Here is the post that everyone has been waiting for!!!!

WHO: 2012 Brides
WHAT: Bridal Shower
WHERE: The Library Cafe in Farmingdale
WHEN: Sunday November 6, 2011 - Noon until 3pm
WHY: Because we like to have fun!
COST: $35 a person

Please send a check in the amount of $35 made out to Mara Harvey. It should be sent to Mara Harvey, 10 Leghorn Court, Huntington Station, NY 11746.

The Library Cafe has two options for events-- upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs has a minimum of 25 people and a maximum of 40. The downstairs has a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 55/60. I will be officially booking with the Library Cafe once I get at least 25 checks. Based on the RSVP it looks as if at least there are 40 people. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send me your check in the next few days. I want to get home from vacation and have 40 checks so that I can book the downstairs room. If we can not book the downstairs room it is going to have to be limited to the first 40 people that send me their check!

At the shower we will be doing/having the following:
1. a chinese auction (we already have ALOT of amazing prizes). Everyone will be getting some tickets for coming. We will have opportunities to win more tickets as well as buy more tickets. All proceeds from the purchase of additional tickets will go to Wish Upon A Wedding.

2. 50/50 raffle. The bride that wins will get half the money and the other half will be donated to Wish Upon a Wedding.

3. Games

4. Secret Bride- Eat person attending will be given a secret bride. You will be given the registry information (or stores that they like if they are not registered) and there will be a maximum that you can spend!

I am going to post when I get back from vacation things that I need help with so that you can volunteer.

I didn't see this until just now! Can you give us an update on numbers? Still room? I just need a day or so to make sure we will be back from a wedding we have on the 5th in Jersey. Thanks for setting this up! Sounds like fun

I am so bummed. I was working my schedule around this to be able to finally meet you ladies and FH tells me that his friend from College is getting married that day in Buffalo. I am excited to see her get married but bummed I cannot celebrate with you ladies
