Okay ladies, I love all of the LIW Girls, but I thought it was time that we have a thread dedicated to African American Brides, so that we could discuss wedding and non-wedding related issues that are significant and or relate to women of color. I notice a lot of our 2010 brides have most of their list done. I'm glad that I am not the only one, taking my time.

Hi ladies, Sharise here....my and fh's family is from Guyana. I no its old but I'm replying to the black cake thing......both me and fh do not like black cake but fh's mom wants it, so we're going to send guests home with it.

In desperate need on make up artist, hair dresser and DJ.....any sugesstions ladies???

Hi ladies, I am so late, I didn't see this thread before tonight....Hi I'm Kamai. I'm not technically African American, I'm actually West Indian but I've been here just as long as I've been there so I guess that counts...lol....
