Official African American Brides Thread

Hey Ladies,
I am to have you all to chat with. I know i'm not a regular but is definately fun to join in some of the chats on LIW. I have been extremely stressed trying to plan my wedding and most times I feel like i'm all alone. I don't really have a circle of friends interested in helping and as many of you might know or feel FH don't necessarily care about all the details just want to show up. That being said I need your help. Im still in the process of choosing the following : flourist ( so far I have visited Pedestals (they were a little over my budget) and have called designs by rose (they don't have my date), Photographer, DJ and Limo.....yeah that's pretty much every thing. I am so indecisive. IAM SOOO TRESSED

Can you recommend someone.
I would really appreciate it

And Am I far behind in this wedding planning thing...I check out a few peoples pages and it seems every one has everything booked already

Hi... I am also a wedding newbie who doesn't post often..but I am soooo glad there is a thread like this. For those having trouble with finding a DJ, I am using Finer Touch Entertainment. Harold Johnson Jr. is the best there is. He was recommended to me by my best friend who saw him and his team in action at an Ebony Wedding Expo. He is very helpful, attentive, reasonable (he really works with your budget), and truly passionate about making your wedding the most memorable day!!! I HIGHLY recommend him! As far as flowers I am using pedestals. They saw my vision and are helping me make it a reality. My contact person is Vito Russo. I like him because he only does one wedding a day so the job will be done perfectly!

I'll try to help you guys as much as I can.... the more I learn the more I want to share!!

WEll I've finally ordered my dress on saturday.... YEAH!!! (although now i'm feeling nervous about my decision) I met with a photographer/ videographer who I will book. I like his work and his prices wer in my price range. Perfectphotovideo.com (just in case anyone is interested. I am still looking for Limo Service, flowers, and DJ and perhaps a DOC

Any help with these items is greatly appreciated.

I need so much help charisma. I have nine months to go and Im starting to fall behind. I need to put together a program for my wedding and Im just so over planning this wedding. Im just ready to throw in the towel. and FH is no help at all.
