Even though I spell my name with 2 'L's I saw another Collette bride on here...I have NEVER met another Collette! I'm thinking this will be the shortest thread on here!

HAAAAAA! YEs at least we have different spellings!! And different Avatars!!! We could actually make this the loooooongest thread if we keep replying with all the mangled/incorrect names we get called....
OK I'll start:
'Claire' (just last night) Colleen Cloret (remember the breath mints?) Charlotte Claudette
OK might be wayyyyyyy too annoying to the non-Colettes/Collettes

I always get Claudette and Cloret... Or how about 'call 1-800-Collette' 'Collette, the best a man can get' (Old Gillette commercial) My friends call me Clit....that started in 6th grade... nice right

ooo ooo ooo my niece (when she was 2) heard those 1800-Collect commercials and said
'aunt collect' which last like 5 years.
My friends weren't as sophisticated as yours in 6th grade, i got called (and sung)
Little Red Colette (a la the Prince song)

Re: **Official Colette thread**
I've always liked the name because of the writer--I read all her books as a teen (although they were a bit too mature for me) and for a long time I thought I might name a daughter 'Colette.' We'll see. Dunno if we're having kids, and maybe as a middle name. (Of course, it wasn't actually the writer's first name, it was the last name of her first husband, but whatever...)
