soooo i just had my yearly review, about 4 months after everyone else, but anyway..... my boss told me that one of the VPs put in an official complaint about me because i create a hostile environment for him because i dont say 'good morning' to him! i dont say good morning to half the people that work here!!!! and vice versa!!! im freaking livid right now! its written in my eval and i refuse to sign it. my boss told me i can disagree and write my reasons why, so i told him since this is an official document, that i need time to think about what i want to write.
i just dont understand how you can complain that someone doenst say good morning???? ugh!!! people are rude to me here, dont say good morning, give attitudes, yet you dont see me complaining!!!!
so ridiculous!!!!! anyone hiring at their office??? haha

I completely agree with him. When someone fails to say good morning to me it just throws off my entire day.
That's insane!!! How does that affect your work? How does that create a HOSTILE environment?!

I would say that he is creating a hostile environmnent for you because he complains about you not saying good morning. Tell him that you now feel uneasy about this, and can't don't feel comfortable at work. It's considered harassment. You don't HAVE to say hi to people if you don't want to. This is work! Honestly, I would say this is sexual harrassment if I were you, because he singled you out for not saying good morning to him. What the effff does he care??? UGH!! I'm so disgusted right now! I'm sorry!!
