Official Floral Terrace Thread

I'm not a FT bride but i'm an SC bride and i'm going to tomorrow's showcase!!!

any ideas what's going to happen tomorrow? the invite was too general...

i have to say......one of the best things about floral terrace is the fact that the wedding cake and some of the desserts are from ButterCooky...i loooooooove that bakery!!

its right across from FT...i need to stay away but those cookies & cakes are just sooooo yummy

Their cakes are the bomb. I bought a slice of carrot cake because I didn't feel like buying a whole red velvet cake. It was delicious.

Ok, so I live really, really close to buttercookie and I must say that they are the BEST bakery ever!!!! I go there every weekend to get their freshly baked bread. and anytime we have a bbq or birthday we purchase the cakes, fruit tarts, etc from them. When FT told me that they were doing my wedding cake, I almost fell backwards from the excitement!!! I took the Viennese hour because buttercookie was supplying the goods pastries! I really should stop going there because I need to fit into a smaller size wedding dress, but I can't help it, they are absolutely delicious!!

can anyone give me the addy for buttercookie??? after reading through all these posts, i'm dying to try them out!

does anyone know if SC uses them as well? (i know ft & sc are sister companies but i dont know if they share vendors too)

I don't know if SandCastle uses them too. Buttercooky is directly across the street from Floral Terrace on Jericho Turnpike.

when i went last year they gave me a few raffle tickets and you usually just win a bunch of stuff...they have a lot of vendors and its just really nice to see your hall again

BTW last year i won
free bridal BK from a florist i forget because i didnt use them
free limo for a bach party from Royalty
and free something (i forget) from Laurence photography

definitely worth going

I can't remember the name but they don't use the same bakery. My sister got married at Sand Castle last month and Mohammed told me when we were doing picking the cake but I can't remember. I'm not sure if you can request this bakery but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'm not sure the address but Floral Terrace address is 250 JEricho Turnpike Floral Park, NY 11001. If you get there it is right across the street you can't miss it. Pics of my sister's wedding in my album

i would love to go....but i have to see what time i get back into queens today...i'm gonna try by best to be there!!

you think they will have desserts by ButterCooky there?? LOL

i dont think they stated until what time....i know it starts at 7pm...i probably wont get off the train until 7pm so if i do go i'll be there around 7:30

Hey Cynn81...i just realized...i saw you and your FH for a quick second at the FT showcase.....your FH and FMIL (i think) were sitting at the table w/ me and my mom....then when you & your parents came you got a bigger table for everyone?? was that you or am i mistaken????
