My first period is finishing watching Psycho and the rest of the day my 9th graders are watching a presentation about AIDS. Therefore . . . I GET TO PLAY ON LI WEDDINGS ALL DAY!

I still have to:
-meet with our photographer and discuss what pictures need to be taken
-finalize flowers
-dress fittings
-wrap favors
-I have a hair and make-up trial tomorrow
-I need undergarments for my gown
-FMIL needs to get off her butt and buy a friggin' dress for our wedding
-addresses need to be given to the calligrapher
-bridesmaids still need shoes
-we need to get our passports done
-buy our rings
-update registry
-finish paying off honeymoon
-pick out how our cake will look
-buy stuff for the OOT bags and the bathroom displays
I'm sure there is more . . . it never seems to end!![]()

She doesn't know how to turn on a computer and her daughters never check this site. I'm in the clear!

But in all seriousness . . . I don't really think anything has been too useless. I just get annoyed with the prices of things here in NY and people that are from out of state that don't understand how much money is going into this. I know we will have a lot of OOT guests that won't give proper gifts or anything at all. I was watching WE Bridezillas last night and weddings elsewhere are so much different. I don't think many people understand what a NY wedding really is.

I don't think so. I've always though it was customary to match the amount of the plate. When FH and I go to a wedding we give $200-$300 to the couple. Anyone who gives less than that should be embarrassed.
I guess . . . or maybe I'm just too generous.
