Well when I booked at The Inn, the owner stated that when the guests pick up their cars, there will be Godiva chocolates on the dashboard and their windows will be washed.

i want an afterparty, if my guests are still alive !! Party ends at 1am !! How can you do the afterparty at the inn? You rent out a different room or something? What hotel is everyone using for blocks?
I heard they give a newspaper and zeppoles to your guests at the end of the night?

I was looking into The Andrew & The inn @ Great Neck but, got pricing from The Inn at Great Neck and it was a lot of $$ AND I know the sales person there since my lab sends him tons of business and it still was a lot!! The Garden City Hotel gave us the best price so far like 150$ per night I think, I am going to look into the Andrew next

I was worried about it too at first, but I don't think I'll wanna go home and neither will my family lol... they do after parties 3 ways... One is to extend the whole wedding for an hour.. One is in another room with an open bar and finger foods that you rent kind of and they personalize.. and the last one is you can go to the bar and just tip the bartenders $100 each and either have a cash bar or run a tab for the guests... I'm so torn on what to do
I don't now about room block yet either.. I have one at the Hyatt GH and one at Marriot Uniondale.. I guess it depends on the after party situation

Oh I have another question for those of you getting married there, how do they set up the flowers? Do they just do the burst of flowers on the overhang thing or do they do them down the aisle as well?

Idk lol maybe you got a special end time.. Mine ends at 1am, the VH only added a half hour they told me.. That's why I'm so curious
