Official Meltdown

Thats it!
I'm done.
Its over.
5 days to go....I think I want to call the whole thing off and just elope. I WANT TO JUST BE MARRIED ALREADY.
I am sooooo over this.
If one more person asks me one more stupid question or makes one more negative comment about why I did this or that.....I'm going to scream.

I don't want to make anymore decisions. Chocolate, vanilla, steak, fish, silk, velvet, ostrich feathers, color, sepia, black and white, white, ivory, brown, UGH.
I'm over this already.

I have been fearing this for a while, but in denial, but now I realize that nobody, other than me, really cares. I think that my guests are just dying to eat and get out of there. I don't think anyone even is really excited for this. Am I doing this all for just me?

FH claims he is excited but in reality I am sure he would have been just as happy if we eloped. One of my friends made the comment that this was silly and the money would have been better spent elsewhere. that was the comment that drove me to the edge.

I think we deserve a wedding. I've always wanted it, I don't care what anyone says. And if I am doing this all for myself.....oh well. At least I'll have pictures that will last a lifetime, and never have to regret that I didn't do something I always dreamed of.

your day is SOOO flippin close, dont sweat it, everything will be fine and you wont regret it...

You and all your guests are going to have a fabulous time.... especially you and FH. Remember it's YOUR Day so enjoy every moment of it.

We'll have to meet up for drinks in Hoboken after the wedding and you can tell me everything to look forward to.

OKAY.... I just looked at Tiggertuths pictures, in her album.
It made me soooo happy and totally changed my mood. I now see why this is all worth it.

You are not alone. This will be FH and my second marriage. I wanted a wedding. My first wedding was a nightmare. Trying to please this one and that one, making decisions, having people put thier two sense in. FARK THEM! It is for you and it's all about you. (fh too but guys are guys- give them a remote and a six pack and they are entertained for hours)

If anyone makes a comment on why you did this or wanted that there is a simple answer.

Because I want it or Mind your own business.
I preferre because I want it. Makes me sound like a spoiled snot.

Go drink some wine and get a massage! Pretty soon the day will be here and gone and yes, you will have beautiful memories of it.

Tune everyone out!!! Think about it in a couple of days you will be married Who care's what anyone else thinks

well i always said...i can't wait to get married and have a wedding...but i sure as hell am not looking forward to all the planning & BS that comes along with it! Just be happy knowing you designed a day around you & FH and what you love and want, and that's all that matters...if people can't be happy for you screw them! And remember the most important aspect...you & FH will be married...the true celebration for the day...good luck & chin up!!!

You are right! I will get through this. And like you, we just moved which I think is adding to the stress. We're living in a sea of cardboard boxes. I can't even find my underwear. I wore bikini bottoms to work today b/c I couldn't find my bloomers.

I am having a very similar melt down today as well! At least you only have a few more days of it....I have to last 3 more months!

Take a DEEP breath........you are fine and your day will be great! You are just overwhelmed and that is normal. You deserve this day no matter what so do not second guess yourself.
