me too! I'm so happy that you started this thread. I'm also working with kristy. she's pretty nice. all we've done so far is pay deposits our neighbor actually just attended a wedding there and he said everything was great! very encouraging :)

You ladies won't be disappointed

I worked w/ Leslie, she was awesome!!

& yes you get a food tasting about a month before your wedding.......you get to try A LOT

at my tasting we:

picked 3 entrees:
chicken wellington
surf & turf
salmon
& Leslie also gave us the other chicken b/c it's her favorite to try haha

Passed hors d'oeuvres
-Shrimp in Ale Batter
-Scallops in Bacon
-Brochettes of Hawiian Chicken
-Brochettes of Beef
-Baby Lamb Chops
-Asparagus spears en croute
-Shitake Mushrooms en croute

Appetizer Selections:
-Crepe Florentine--YUUUUMMMMMYYY!!!!!
-Mozzarella with Tomato & Basil
-Coquille St. Jacques

No one else is working with Mike? Maybe he is new and replaced Nadine?

I'm nervous now, no one else has worked with him!

Yay for food tasting! I wish that I could go to a wedding there beforehand, just to scope out the things I really like and those I maybe wanted to talk about beforehand. Oh well.

I know! Are you having your ceremony at the milleridge as well? Where did you block hotel rooms??

I am having the ceremony there! Are you???? I didn't book hotels yet His whole family is coming from south africa and i have nooooo clue where to get rooms!!! I am having about 10-15 people from all over the world!~ Any ideas???

Yes I am too, my ceremony starts at 11:30. We blocked rooms at the four points by sheraton but also check out homewood suites by hilton and la quinta (formerly known as the wingate inn). I believe the la quinta offers free shuttle service for your guests if you block a certain amount of rooms.

Are you staying at your house? You don't want half your guests staying at your house if that's where you're getting ready. The mayhem will drive you insane!

oh ok, if you're staying in a hotel then it shouldn't matter where the guests stay. Nope, we're going with an outside florist, the milleridge is using the centerpieces that normally come on the reception tables on the CH (cocktail hour) tables

I really didn't like there flowers they gave. I am so picky though! I love that glass room!!! I wanted to get chair covers and stuff like that.... I just keep thinking of things i want! Maybe we will share them since you have the same day hahahaha

I has my food tasting this weekend ladies..
I dont know if any one else went, but when you do.. go with an appetite.
