As you can see - I am absolutely bored and procrastinating from doing work - so I made of list of past and future NRC brides so we can all know where to get info, reviews, opinions and pictures from. Hope this helps everyone! I am sure I missed some past brides and some future brides - I'll still look for more though...

I know it is not a fancy fondant cake (which I am not a fan) but this was my cake. I loved it. It tasted sooooo amazing. I had chocolate and real bananas in it!

thanks. it was white cake with choc filling and it has pieces of banana in it. It does sound weird. but it was a huge hit!

Thanks Jessica. My mom might have to work, she said she was going to look into taking the day though - we'll see. I haven't really looked around yet for people to come with. But I will definately see you there.

AT the tasting I went to everyone sits at their own tables. Some tables had 8 people at them! You should bring a bunch of people to get their opinion on all the food! Bring a notebook to write stuff down, ther eis so much to remember!

Yes, I will definitely bring a notebook, I'm sure your thoughts and your tastebuds are focused on different things and you get caught up in trying everything you forget things.
I would love to have the seafood station, but I'm not sure how much it is, I think they charge per person - like $12 pp, I don't remember.

I didn't know the seafood bar included lobster and crab legs! They told me it was only shrimp, clams, and mussels (which I didn't think was worth the $12 per person!)! Did they give you all 5 different things for $12? Thanks girls!

Did you ask for the swags and dots? The cake is very pretty, but it still looks similiar to the old cakes. Am I wrong?

Do they offer the fondant ? Anyone know what hte extra cost is?

I'm soooo excited, next week is the tasting!! can't wait, did anyone not bring family or parents as they said is allowed at the tasting, what about a close friend?? They don't charge you do they??

I just spoke with a friend that went to a wedding at the NR a couple of weeks ago and loved it. She said the food was amazing, the service was great and the place was beautiful (as we all know!). I plan to stop by next week and pick up direction cards for my invites.
