As you can see - I am absolutely bored and procrastinating from doing work - so I made of list of past and future NRC brides so we can all know where to get info, reviews, opinions and pictures from. Hope this helps everyone! I am sure I missed some past brides and some future brides - I'll still look for more though...
thanks!!! i'll keep trying to get the list down, but it's so hard. i really hope it's nice out. i am really worried if it rains. i already know i am going to be such a nervous bride.

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
I think it will work! I saw a wedding set up there for a large number, but they're very good at placing the tables so it doesn't look packed!

Bump....
I am still torn netween NRC and Fountainhead. My favorite priest is in New Rochelle and thats why I am confused. Otherwise I think it would be NR all the way. The ladies here seem to have nothing negative to say about NR.
Would it be horrible to have the ceremony in New Rochelle and the reception on Long Island?????
I need info ladies... Thanks!!

My priest came from another parish to say my mass. Ask your priest if he'll come to LI to say your mass....

stacie
I got married at the NRC, my best friend got married at the Fountainhead in New Rochelle Both are lovely. Neither have a water or special view to make them different. The only thing I can say is that the NRC made a more signifant impression on guests food wise, the cocktail hour. They offer more unique international exceptional items in their basic package. Unless FH changed their menu, but I dont remember everyone being equally impressed with the cocktail hour food. We added the sushi bar and NRC , my friend in FH added the seafood bar, both were fabuluos.

Angela--those pics are awsome, thanks. Its nice to see how the tables look set up. Do they always put wine on the table or did you ask for that?
And I couldnt remember the other night what the chairs looked like. Dont you hate it when you cant hang your purse on the chair, and you have to either put it on the floor, or behind you. I hate that!! I can hang my purse!!

Hey I just logged onto this website for the first time today. I've been chatting on 'The Knot' for the last 6 months. I never knew this website existed....Anyway, I'm also joining your list of North Ritz Club Weddings.
Wednesday, November 24, 2004. The night before Thanksgiving .
P.S. Great List by the way. I'm so glad to see so many others with the same interest.

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
question:
does the NRC provide votives on the main tables in the reception room?
Also, have you seen the new NRC website? They re-did it.

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
Hey Groovy peg, your wedding is the Sunday right before mine on Wednesday. I wonder if it was you that I spoke to at the Tasting. (I met a couple with their mom that night who was getting married the weekend before mine)
How come my date is still not on the list? November 24, 2004
Does anyone know how creative the North Ritz is in decorating cakes?

i think it was me that you spoke too!! LOL!! it's getting closer!!!!
Okay has anyone been to a North Ritz wedding where they had the rectangle tables. I really wanted the round ones, but I have about 260 coming to my wedding and they can't do it if its more then 250. I was just wondering if it looks really crowded.
