all your vendors will call the week off and finalize once again...

I did tons of shopping when the summer first started-now I am just trying to catch things on sale but most stores still have sleevless shirts etc...

Does anyone feel like they've done their final vendor appts, but still need to call all of them to go through changes/final details?

16 days to go and:
FH still needs a vest and to do tux alterations
1 more fitting for me
Shoes being dyed
apples in the welcome bag
place cards for both the RD and wedding
finalizing all the vendors

I can't believe your wedding is SO soon!!! Isn't your bachelorette this weekend??? HAVE FUN!!!

Hey what are you all doing for placecards? I got ones that match my invites so I need to have someone hand write them.....do I need fancy calligraphy or can I have my mom who has really pretty script just do them? I feel like by the time I finalize seating - the place cards will need to be done so last minute. The thought of finding a calligrapher to bring them to at that late in the game stresses me out. What are you all doing?

YIKES - we have not gone for tuxes yet! Guess we need to desparately do that this weekend!!!
We don't have a lot of guys though...just FH and his 1 brother. Other brother and dad both own a tux. Oh and my 2 ring bearers need also. So 2 adults and 2 ring bearers...shouldn't be a problem.

hey gals - here's pics of my second fitting (excuse the pics - i'm a pretty bad photographer. lol.). i forgot to take a pic of the train - it's pretty long. my final pickup is next week!!!!!! omg - only 15 days to go!!!!!

We have not gone for our tuxedo's yet either. Hopefully FH will work on that this weekend!!!!!

yes, bach party is saturday! I'm so excited! They are surprising me--I don't know what we're doing!

I am having my place cards done by the calligrapher, but only because I have terrible 'lefty' handwriting. You can definitely have your mom do them! But I'm also doing placecards for the RD and those I'm having printed up by computer (got cute scalloped ones--JUST ordered them). Here's the link for the RD placecards:

I am using votive place card holders. I haven't even started that project. With most of our invites in (barely meeting our minimum) I think we may tackle seating arrangements this weekend. Also we are having our final meeting with our pastor to go over the day next week so that I can finally make the programs. I made my menu's I just need to put them together still!!! Still need ring bearer gifts, flower girl jewelery boxes or something! Parent gifts too!!! Is anyone else feel like everything is going to fast. I work two jobs and don't get home till after 8 everynight plus I am working extra on the weekends to make more money for the wedding. I just vacuumed and dusted my house at 6:30 in the morning because I just don't have any other time to do it.

I know what you mean, I work 2 jobs also and I am out of the house from 7:30am until about 10:30-11:00pm Mon-Fri, and I also work Sat's from 10am-10pm. So the only day that I have to do anything is Sunday's. It is very difficult, but it will all get done.

i am also so busy, i'm starting to get worried that i won't get everything done before the wedding in 15 days!!!!

i'm in law school so my nights (mon - thu), i'm in school from 530 till 10pm, so i don't get home till about 11. during the day i have to get my schoolwork done and i'm also working. i am sooooo starved for time. i can't wait till the wedding is over and be married and get my life back!!!

it's funny b/c my moh, mom, and even fh sometimes are like 'well, why can't you do it? or why haven't you had time to get it done?' they forget that i'm in school!!!!! law school, no less. freaking out that my grades are gonna suffer this semester.

We got our marriage license on Tuesday! I am SO excited! We also applied for our passports on Tuesday, did our menu with our catering hall, and I had my hair trial on Tuesday and it went GREAT! FH went shopping yesterday and bought out Unity Candle, cake cutting set, and toasting glasses (and he picked out great stuff!!!!). We are moving right along. Hopefully on Sunday I will start working on my programs (I finalized the music with the Church on Monday), work on our card box, and buy things for our bathroom baskets.

oh - it feels real for me - considering i started planning this wedding four weeks ago!!! lolololol. time cruuuuuunch. but i can't wait to be MARRIED to fh!!!

I'm with you on this!

Unfortunately FH just made me realize last night that I should wait until very last minute to do our programs and have them printed b/c his dad is so sick - we're not sure if he's going to make it to the wedding so programs might have to be changed slightly.

I can certainly have them all typed up and ready to be printed.

We're doing a lot this weekend. My mom and I are going to see my sample CP with the florist and to finalize everything...FH and I are meeting with priest to go over ceremony...picking up both our wedding bands...finalizing all gifts for BP and parents....and going for tuxes!
