I had my final fitting last night...picking up my dress on Tuesday! Can't believe it's almost here.

Please keep FH and his family in your thoughts and prayers though please.....his dad is sick with cancer and has taken a turn for the worse. He's just getting worse and worse each day now and even if he lives til our wedding day - he will not be able to attend. He can't walk anymore and all he does is sleep...he's not eating or going to the bathroom. It's just a horrible thing to be going thru during what is supposed to be the happiest time in our life. My heart hurts for FH...he is just so sad that his dad will not be there to see us get married.
His dad is at the 'leave me alone I just want to die stage' - so it is very hard on FH and his family to see that. I honestly can't even imagine how awful it will be if he dies before our wedding...I will need serious tranquilizers or something to keep me calm...that would just be too hard to have a funeral the week of our wedding.

We are also cancelling our honeymoon to Tahiti which I am SO sad about. I put so much into the planning of that trip...I was SO looking forward to it. But obviously we cannot go - even if he dies tomorrow...we'd just be too sad to go away on a trip like that so soon. We want to go when we can fully enjoy it. Thank god for trip insurance!!!
We plan to go to this nice place in Vermont for a few days after the wedding so we can at least get away somewhere but I am even scared we won't be able to do that. It's just so hard...every couple deserves a honeymoon.

yeah - we'll be going to greece next year!! can't wait for that.

i'm sorta happy that it's still mild, but kinda worried that this is not normal. lol. i think for thanksgiving weekend it's still supposed to be in the 50s!!

Don't stress!!!! I promise everything will fall into place!! And definitely go for a spa day or massage a day or two before the wedding - it makes a world of difference on how you feel, look, and your entire outlook!!!

Hi Ladies!!! I just wanted to check in to see how my fellow November brides are doing. I'm so excited for each of you and can't wait to see pics!

I'm doing good! I had my final meeting with the Florist and DJ on Tuesday. Today I am going for my final fitting and hopefully if all is well I will pick up the dress on Tuesday. Tonight I am also doing my final meeting at the catering hall. I am nowhere near prepared for that, but I will at least pay the final balance tonight and get that off my mind. Everything is coming along VERY well. Actually my cousin that was due to have her baby on my wedding day went early and had the baby yesterday morning, so they will now be able to come to my wedding! I am so excited. She won't be up and dancing like crazy, but at least she will be there!!!

How's everyone else?

I just picked up my dress! The rehersal dinner is tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
