SECRET BRIDE ORNAMENT SWAP 2011!
***UPDATE...Sign up is now officially CLOSED for the 2011 Ornament Swap. All brides listed below should have received an FM from either Amanda or me with your Secret Bride, her survey answers, Full Name and Address. If for some reason you have not received your FM, please send a message to both Amanda and me and we will re-send to you. Try and have your ornaments sent out to your bride by the first week in December! And look out for an Official 2011 Ornament Thread where everyone can post a pic of their ornament and who they received it from... HAPPY SHOPPING!***
This is open any 2011 bride who wishes to participate. It’s a great way to spread some holiday cheer among us LIW brides and who doesn’t love receiving gifts in the mail!
Here’s how it works:
Below you are going to find a survey. All you need to do to participate is copy this survey into an FM to both myself - Jessie (FutureJOC) and Amanda (amandamichael) along with your FULL NAME and ADDRESS of where you would like your ornament to be sent. Make sure you send to both of us that way we can keep track of everyone who is participating (we are expecting a bigger turnout than last year since there are a lot more beautiful brides on board!). Please put in the subject line “SECRET BRIDE SURVEY” so it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle of other FMs we may receive. This survey is basically going to help your Secret Bride get to know a little more about your “Holiday Style” and find the perfect ornament to send to you. Also, I would like to point out that this is not just a “Christmas” ornament swap. This is open to all religions and any holidays that anyone may celebrate during this time of the year
Deadline for filling out and FMing the survey/address to myself and Amanda is no later than MONDAY, OCTOBER 25TH! We will keep a running list on this thread of whose FMs we have received.
This will give us a week to look through all the surveys and match a bride to their Secret Bride. You will receive an FM during the first week of November with your Secret Bride, her address, and the answers to her survey.
The budget for the ornament will be $15. You can spend this however you wish – buy 1 ornament for $15 or you can buy 2 ornaments that equal $15 – totally up to you!
We ask that all ornaments be sent out by the first week of December to allow for enough delivery time for girls to receive their ornaments and enjoy them during the Holidays.

Stupid question: I know this is a secret santa type thing, but are we supposed to write who the ornament is from?
No, don't say who you have just yet. When you receive your ornament in the mail from your Secret Bride, we just ask that you post on here that you received your ornament and who you received it from - that way your bride knows you got it.
I am probably going to start an official 2011 Ornament Thread so everyone can post their ornaments that they received.,

If you've already got your Secret Bride, you can go out and purchase and send whenever you like.
We just ask that all oranments be sent out by the first week in Decemner to allow enough time for your bride to receive it before the holiday

I didn't mean now, I meant when we send the ornament. Or do we just send it without a return address? Is this supposed to be completely secret where noone ever knows who sent what?

oh sorry... Yes please send a note along with your ornament saying who you are so they know who had them and who to thank!
