Hey girls...great thread. I'm a 9/3/06 Giorgio's bride.

So far I have:
ceremony - Giorgio's Garden

reception - Giorgio's

Photography & Video - K & J Photography...I can't say enough great things about them. FM me if anyone has any questions.

Hair - April from Creative Designs

Cocktail Music - Daniel William Costanzo
At The Piano (Giorgio's house pianist)

Make up - Marie Katz

Ceremony Music - Counterpoint (string trio)

Officiant - Father Tom McCormick

Still need to work on:

Dress - I have an idea, I'm going to a trunk show this weekend, but Jola found me my new fav. dress so I'll have to try that one on too!

Flowers - I'm almost ready to book

DJ - I will book one my mid-Aug.

Limo - Hopefully book next week

Bridal Party - asked most, but not all

BP dress - yeah...I need to ask everyone first!

MrsP2Be mentioned that she is planning to go dress shopping between September and November, and I had mentioned that I think that is perfect timing bc the Spring 2006 dress collection should be out. And thats when she replied (see quote above)...

Hi! I'm in Sept, even though I'm the last one in September. Here's what's done:
-I booked my ceremony/reception.
-most of my registry (all but bedding).
-tried on a few gowns, mostly to see what shape I like
-I know the photographer I want, just have to call
-I know where we are going on the HM, just have to book it

I have everything else to do, I feel a bit behind but I'm not too worried.

hi Sept 06 girls.

I've got almost everything done, except florist, limos and bridesmaid dresses.

Plus all the little stuff that comes later....

Don't be discouraged... You really have a lot of time. I'm just one of those anal people who has to be on top of everything! At least when it comes to this wedding!!

Oh dont get discouraged!! I am on the same page as you are...just have the hall and church...Im ready to book the other vendors but havent done so...By the way, my company had a X-Mas party last year at Battery Gardens and it was splendid...what a beautiful place! And food was deeeeelicious....the view should absolutely breath-taking in Sept! Good choice! Very pricy though...

I am 9/23!

And I have been engaged since last June! So Sept. feels so far away!!!

Anyway I have:
Dress
Hall
Church
Photographer
Videographer
Florist
Favor ideas
Hotel for OOTers
I think that is it!
I need a limo company and a hair style!
Plus accessories for my gown

Otherwise I am so ready to get married! haha

My parents do not understand booking vendors this early.

Mine neither!

I have to explain to them the whole 'American Wedding' preparation process over and over

Im gonna book limos by then end of Aug and I know what florist Im gonna use and will probably book them in Jan.

I started looking at dresses but havent committed to anything yet.....

I think we all still have time you know?
