I just wanted to say that you'll be very happy with your choice. I just had my wedding at the woodlands on Sept. 19th. I've been sort of quiet on these boards and didn't post much during my planning process. I will post a review soon just haven't had a chance yet.
It was exactly what I had hoped it would be. My guests are still talking about it. The food, the atmosphere was perfect in my opinion. There's nothing I'd change even the little things that I hadn't planned on. I worked with Racquel who was very sweet and pleasure to work with.
I have to add that the woodlands wasn't my first choice. We had looked at other mansion locations. (That was the kind of atmosphere DH and I wanted) I fell in love with The Harrison House. We didn't book because had no idea about the food, it was a little out of our price range and we knew we wouldn't meet the min requirements for number of guests. I was upset that we couldn't have it there. Even months after we booked the woodlands I still wished it could've been at the harrison house. Now that it's all over...after experiencing my party at the woodlands all my regrets have disappeared COMPLETELY! The woodlands treated us very well. The service was first class all the way. My wedding turned out to be very elegant just as I hoped.
I'll recommend the woodlands to anyone that asks.

Hi, Did you book the woodlands for your wedding already? just wondering.. we're considering it too.. but the ballroom's setup is not ideal.. small dancefloor and the people sitting in the back will not feel like they're in a wedding.. too far back.. we're having 250 guests, Cocktail room might be small... I really like the place though.. any suggestions you can give me?

I think the Woodlands are beautiful. The only concern I had was about cocktail hour not having a door from the outside but they've added one and it's wonderful now. Your guests won't have to see people coming in to use the restaurant upstairs. I love the food at Passionfish and I think that weddings there are going to be beautiful. The room colors are a little drab but if you use a good florist you can liven it up and the chandeliers they have are absolutely gorgeous! I would highly recommend it.
