OFFICIALLY a 2010 BRIDE

Hello Ladies,
I wanted to introduce myself to the 2010 board. My name is Sheena and I am an OOT bride who lives in FL but getting married in LI. I originally was an 09 bride but had to change my date. It's so hard to try and plan a wedding from FL when you can't get to go to NY that often. Now that I have more time it should be alot better I am so much happier with my 6/12/10 date because it was my grandfather's birthday plus FH and I met on the 12th of Oct. in 01 which flips perfect. I can't wait to get to know you all better

I grew up on LI and have lived here all my life, but I'm moving to Florida for med school in July but am still getting married on LI... so I know what you mean about planning from a distance! Luckily, I am getting all my major vendors booked before the move so it definitely won't be nearly as difficult. Another coincidence - my original wedding date was 06-12-10 lol but I had to change to the following week bc of the church. What part of Florida are you in? I'm moving to the Ft. Lauderdale area (10 min away).
