I need help selecting an officiant. FH and I are different religions and decided on an interfaith minister. I looked at a few who happened to be women. My parents are from Italy and my father was not pleased with having a woman. He felt that not having a priest was one thing, but having a woman would be totally different than what my old fashion Italian family is used to....so with that being said: do you have any recommendations of an interfaith male minister??
ETA: to say thank you in advance!

Re: Officiant
My brother and his wife used Father Lisante and Rabbi Block. My family is Italian-Catholic, and my sister in law is Jewish. They did a beautiful ceremony.
I don't know if that helps you at all.
We are using Rev Vincent Sica for our wedding.

Re: Officiant
Father Thomas McCormick does interfaith weddings, and he is a really likeable officiant.

Re: Officiant
I am having a priest from my church and Rabbi Frank. I am Catholic and my fiance is Jewish. We liked combining the two faiths out of respect to both of the families.

Re: Officiant
Father Allmen seems really nice. We have been talking in emails. If you are Catholic, you can have the marriage license honored in the Catholic church after the ceremony. This made my Mom happy :o)
