Officiant

Officiant

Originally someone we knew was thinking about getting ordained, but she hasn't said anything to me, and It's not like I can say anything, when she was doing it for free.

I asked her how it was going like a month ago, and she said she was just trying to make sure it would be legal, but since then shes started a new job, and I just dont feel comfortable bringing it up again.

We would want a non-religious ceremony, probably a justice of the peace. Short, and customizable to us. Recommendations pleaaaase?

we have a friend doing it for us too! he's already ordained, but i remember him saying it was really easy. you could always try to casually bring it up to her and see what she says if she still wants to or not.
before you book someone else w/o talking to her about it first.

Try Pastor April or Reverand Deb. I have heard great things about both and we are using Reverand Deb (she performed my cousins wedding and I cried it was so good).

We want the same thing!! I would love it if one of our friends or family could marry us and it would be free...I can't justify spending $500 for a 15 minute ceremony!!!

We're using Rev Deb too. We've spoken on the phone, but since we live in LA, we haven't met her yet. I'm super excited! Check out her site.
