Ok, So FH and I are trying to figure out who we want to marry us! We were going to just go with whoever his cousin was having (romantic huh?) but his cousins fiance told me it was Father Bob...I then broke the news that he was a fraud and now we're all looking for someone else. Any of you have any officiants that will appease FH who ultimately would like to be married in a church but knows I don't want to!?

Have you considered asking a friend to get ordained? We would have done that if my mom didnt put her foot down about getting married by a Rabbi. It doesn't cost much and you can do it online, and whoever you ask can make the ceremony a little more personal.

We asked our friend to get ordained for us! We wanted as many personal touches as we could get.
I've heard really good things about Pastor April though. She approached FH and I at an expo bc she thought we were adorable bc of the height difference. She seemed really nice:)

I spoke with pastor April as well. She was amazing!!!! We found out a friend is able to perform a ceremony though and prefer the way more personal approach though. I totally would have booked her if our friend didnt tell us about being able to marry us!

I don't know if FH wants a Catholic priest, but you'll be hard-pressed to find one who will marry you outside of the Church, unfortunately. That being said, the officiant I hear most about and have heard nothing but positive reviews about is Pastor April!

Thanks Everyone! He knows that it won't be a catholic priest, I've explained it to him and we are going to have to eventually get re-married in the church he wants our kids baptized. I told him I'd do it 9months pregnant, only b/c I'm a complete B**** LOL
