Keith from NY Marriages!
I agree 1000%. We got married on 11/3 and Keith was AMAZING. I'm still getting compliments about the ceremony and people were shocked that he didn't know us for years! I couldn't imagine being married by anyone else it felt like a friend or family member married us!!!!
SAME!!! He is amazing and so many people said how much they loved our ceremony!

Captain Arnold, lol. He has a sweet, comforting, inviting tone to his voice. He is all about the ceremony, and has been doing this for so many years. He goes further than just the normal wedding vows and reciting. He has other ceremonies within yours such as a dedication to the mothers and/or children. Check him out. Nauticalweddingbells.com

Officiant - Long Island Weddings
Hi Ladies, I am so confused about getting started on the officiant! We are getting married next year in Oct. How far in advance do I do appointments? I am reading everyone's posts which I guess will help me to choose. I hope....

Re: Officiant
Depends on what you're looking for. Religious vs not, short and sweet vs more emotional and in detail, man vs woman, price, relationship with the officiant. Look up reviews on different websites about the person.

Reverend Nick.
Used Rev Nick and he was fantastic.
Rev Nick was AMAZING! Everyone keeps telling us it was one of the best ceremonies they've seen.

I'm thinking about using Pastor April too. I haven't met with her yet but we want a female to perform our wedding and I've heard great things about her. I was wondering how many officiants most people have met with or if most people end up going with whoever they meet with first?
