The officiant that I'm thinking about booking don't go to rehearsals, is that common? Can anyone recommend officiants that are willing to go to the rehearsal?

My officiant will not go to the rehearsal either. It is quite common.
I have been in 2 bridal parties that have had their ceremony in a catholic church and the priest did not attend either rehearsal.

That is NUTS to me. Isn't the whole point of the rehearsal for the officiant to be there? To paractice the wedding? How do you do that without them?

I've had the same thing happen. They have the church wedding coordinator tell the participants what's going to happen.
