Currently we're booked at a church but due to some issues possibly forcing us to marry legally before then I'm exploring other options. I still plan on talking with the priest because I really do want to get married there but something is telling me he's not going to be willing to do it.
So two questions...
Has anyone married before the actually wedding and had an officiant willing to 'marry' you again on the day?
and
How much do officants usually cost?
Thanks ladies!

Re: Officiant cost? (also on 2011)
i don't think that should be a problem ... non-religious officiants cost between 300-600 ...
but would you consider just getting married at the town hall or something? it hink that's only about $50.
ETA: actually, no officiant should ahve a problem marrying you the second time ... it'll pretty much be the same as a vow renewal to them.

Re: Officiant cost? (also on 2011)
My best friend got married before her 'wedding'...
and then I re- married them on that day..
Technically as she was already married there wasn't an issue.. .but I became an ordained minister (cause originally she wasn't originally going to get married prior).
So if you get married before your wedding... consider having someone special to you 'marry' you.
