I am trying to make a budget for when we finally get home to LI to book things, and I have absolutely NO idea what an officiant costs. Anyone know? We are going to get married at the RH, so not a priest/rabbi. TIA!

I've seen a range, I'm looking in CA though. So far the range I've seen is from $250-$500. I hired someone that was $250.

DITTO!! I even asked my aunt to get ordained so she can officate the ceremony! That will save us some $$

you're probably going to be very sad when i tell you that the Rabbi's i've spoken to were all in the range of $500 - $1000 each ... no idea what a priest/deacon costs since FH and I are both Jewish ... good luck though!

$800 for a ceremony in our church Not including music. But at least it goes to the church.
