FH and I are having our long time pastor perform our ceremony for us. I know he won't charge us, but we would like to give him something to show him how much we appreciate him. I was wondering how much officiants typically charge, in order to get an idea of what I should give him. If anyone could FM me a price range for an officiant I would appreciate it!
P.S. - He is not affiliated with the church we are getting married in, so that is a completely separate donation.

Re: Officiant Fee
Ideally they charge around $350 to $500. But you should atleast give him $350 depending on your budget.

Re: Officiant Fee
Is this a different fee from the church? Or is it included if you are getting married in a church?

Re: Officiant Fee
I think it is included if you're getting married in a church with their pastor. FH and I go to a very small church, that won't fit all of our guests. So we are using our pastor, in a different church.
