Officiant help!

Officiant help!

Any recommendations on officiants?
FH and I are looking for a standard/traditional ceremony - the cookie-cutter kind with 'ladies and gentlemen, we are gathered here today, yadda yadda, I now pronounce you husband and wife?' We're not religious nor spiritual. Also, FH is SUPER shy and doesn't want the officiant to say anything about our personal lives or about our undying love for one another LOL

Pastor Mike Cassera! He is a vendor on here, check him out! We used him and totally loved him. Got lots of compliments on him from our guests too!

Check Pastor April. She' s a vendor on here. My FH is super shy too and he loved her. She can customize it to your liking. Once my FH got there I think I was the quieter one and he just opened up. She has that effect on ppl I think.

Rev. Deb is AWESOME. She is a vendor on here! FH is also really shy and she made him feel so comfortable. She can do a standard ceremony or personalize it, if you would like.

If you have any questions just let me know. I just met with her last week and booked her on the spot.

Have u checked at your town hall for a list of officiants? I got an officiant that was a judge, she did it for free, but most officials charge $75. The judge did a ceremony that I chose and I met her ahead of time and discussed it. Just an option.....

What about asking a friend to do it?

My best friend is going to be our officiant, he got the license a week after I asked him

This may be a stupid question, but can you have an officiant do it at a catholic church if the catholic church allows? Has anyone heard of this?

I'll def check these people out!

What kind of questions would I have to prepare before I meet with them? I'm not sure what to ask!

Mtk--- I'm getting married in CHCC, what town hall would I contact if I'm not from LI? (I'm from Brooklyn)

FH is super shy too and after meeting Rev Deb he wanted to book her on the spot. She actually came to my aunt's house in New Jersey and performed an intimate ceremony there for her last month and we couldn't be happier!
